Not really Twi-related, but...

Kellan attended the opening of the Moods of Norway store in Los Angeles Wednesday night! As a Norwegian twi-addict, I feel obligated to blog about it. Moods of Norway is a Norwegian clothing brand started in 2003, and the store in LA is their first store in the US. Radar online reports:
Kellan attended the Moods of Norway store opening in Los Angeles Wednesday night wearing one of their stylish blue suits with a light blue shirt.

Norwegian New Moon Contest - Become a Movie Extra in NM!

The May issue of the Norwegian teen magazine Topp (pictured to the right) has an exciting contest for all the Norwegian twilight fans - the oppertunity to become a movie extra in New Moon!

Here's what the article says (translated by me, so don't be surprised if some of it doesn't sound right):

WIN A DREAM DAY AT THE SET OF TWILIGHT

Pack your bags, and get ready for the trip of your dreams. We take two lucky winners to Italy, and best of all? You can become an extra in the movie.

The shooting of Twilight's New Moon is already taking place in Vancouver, Canada, with the whole cast. In May, the cast is headed for Montepulciano in Italy, where the final scenes of the movie will be shot. Together with Nordisk Film (Nordic Film), Topp gives one lucky reader the opportunity to bring a friend to Italy.

The winner will get exclusive access to th
e Twilight-set. There will be a need for 400 extras, which means that you can be seen on the big screen when New Moon enters movie theatres in November. New Moon is the sequel to last years blockbuster Twilight, which was watched by over 130.000 Norwegians (Yes, I know. But remember, Norway is a country of only 4.7 million people.)

Director Chris Weitz is certain that New Moon will become just as big a success as Twilight.
- I promise to give everything I've got to make a great and credible adaption of New Moon, Weitz writes in a letter to the fans.

The trip to Italy will be from May 25th to 28th, flight and hotel are included in the prize. Other costs must be paid for by the winner. You have to be at least 15 years old to enter this contest.

All you need to do is to buy the magazine, fill in your name/address/age on the form below the article and post it within May 14. OME, this is so exciting! I hope I win!

The Norwegian Twilight DVD Release

Tomorrow is the big day! Mark your calendars all Norwegian twi-fans! The Twilight DVD is finally being released here in Norway April 29. I'm really excited, and though I'm not going to attend any twilight DVD release parties I'll definitely go buy the DVD first thing tomorrow. Yesterday, a video of Robert Pattinson greeting the Norwegian Twilight fans was circulating the net and posted on every twilight blog I read, so of course, considering the fact that I'm a Norwegian and all, I have to post it here as well. *Squee* Rob know's there are twilight fans in Norway as well!

Okay, I still haven't actually heard what he's saying since I'm having issues with the sound on my computer. All I can make out is "..I'm Robert Pattinson" (right..?), so would anyone please be so kind and tell me what he is saying? I think he looks a bit tired though, poor guy. I'm sure all the promoting stuff can be quite exhausting (or just plain boring). Anyway, the important thing is; he knows the Norwegian twilight fans exists, which includes me. Haha :D

For those of you who are not Norwegian (which I guess is the majority of people reading this blog), let me just tell you that Twilight is huge here as well. All four books are bestsellers, both the English version and the Norwegian translations (though Breaking Dawn has yet not been translated), and the movie was a success as well. But the twilight madness is, obviously, way bigger in the US, a country of 306 million people, than in Norway, with a population of only 4,7 million.

From all Norwegian Twilight fans; Rob, we love you. You did an amazing job bringing Edward to life in Twilight. Thank you for the greeting, whatever you said, it was really nice. Good luck with any upcoming movies, especially New Moon!

..Oh, and yeah, if you're ever in Norway, Rob, give me a call!

Update (a few hours later): I got the sound working! Lol.
