The publishhers behind Stephenie Meyer’s smash teen vampire series are preparing two volumes drawn by Korean artist Young Kim and heavily edited by Meyer. “For years I’ve had many fans ask me if there will be a graphic-novel version of Twilight,” Meyer said in a statement. “I know they’ll be just as thrilled as I am for this new interpretation.” The graphic novel is essentially Meyer’s brain on paper. “Stephenie is reviewing every page, every panel,” says Kurt Hassler, publishing director for Yen Press, an imprint of Hachette Book Group. “People should feel like they are getting a rare glimpse inside her vision of the property.”

Twilight Manga on the way!
From Entertainment Weekly:For those of you who can’t get enough Edward and Bella, EW can announce — exclusively — that Yen Press will be publishing Twilight in graphic-novel form, publication date still to be determined.
